Obuv. Mir Kozhi’2010. Autumn,  the 33rd  International Exhibition for Shoes and Leather Products will be running  in pavilions No. 4 and 7 of the Expocentre Fairgrounds on October  19-22, 2010.

Obuv. Mir Kozhi, one of the most stable and dynamically developing exhibitions is a recognized leader among trade shows of its kind in Russia and the CIS countries. 

The forthcoming exhibition will demonstrate the Spring-Summer’2011 collections of high-quality fashion shoes and leather goods.    

Nowadays the footwear manufacture is one of the most dynamic branches of the light industry. That is why the Obuv. Mir Kozhi show is held on the Expocentre Fairgrounds twice a year – in spring and in autumn. 

The Exhibition is held by Expocentre in cooperation with Bologna Fiere (Italy) with the support from the National Association of Italian Footwear Manufacturers (ANCI), the Ministry of Economic Development of Italy, and the Italian Institute for Foreign Trade (ICE), under the patronage of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Russian Federation.

The Project is accorded deserved recognition and is approved with the labels of the Global Association of the Exhibition Industry (UFI) and the Russian Union of Exhibitions and Fairs (RUEF).

The world volume of the footwear production makes up about 13, 5 billion pairs of shoes per year. Approximately 1, 2 billion pairs of shoes are produced in Europe, 900 million of which are produced in Western Europe and about 300 million pairs – in Eastern Europe.   

The Italian footwear industry is considered to be a world leader in production of high-quality shoes of a middle and high price range. Italian footwear manufacturers are in fact generally recognized world footwear trendsetters.  

The Russian footwear industry manufactures about 0, 3% of the world footwear production.

At present the brand footwear consumption culture is improving in Russia, that is why the Obuv. Mir Kozhi exhibition plays a significant part in this process.

350 companies will take part in the autumn exhibition. Besides exhibitors from Italy who traditionally present a national exposition, companies from Germany, Greece, Lithuania, the Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Russia, Serbia, Spain, Switzerland, Turkey and the USA will demonstrate their new products.

The forthcoming exhibition list of participants includes such companies as Cromia, Loriblu, Marino Fabiani, Mario Cerutti, Nando Muzi, Nursace, Ras, Ripani and other well-known ones.  

Each exhihbbition ‘Obuv. Mir Kozhi is an important event in the industry. The exposition occupied the floor space of 7 000 sq. meters will exhibit footwear for women, men and children; home and leisure shoes; sports, rubber and felt boots;  special and orthopedic shoes; prospective collections of fashionable design footwear and so on.

Italian footwear manufacturers will show their new high price segment-oriented collections. ANCI will arrange a visit to the exposition for companies from different regions of Russia and the CIS countries with the purpose of popularizing the exhibition.   

A Specialized Salon for Bags, Leather Haberdashery and Accessories will be a traditional, organic and important supplement to the demonstration of footwear fashion new collections. The Salon will exhibit a wide range of products including bags, belts, suitcases, gloves; leather materials, components and accessories, shoes care agents and so on.

The world-renown companies’ brands including Ripani, Arcadia, Lara San Paul, Renato Angi and many other ones will take part in the Salon.

The Obuv. Mir Kozhi’2010 exhibition traditionally will offer every opportunity to establish direct business contacts and to promote goods to different Russian regions through representatives of wholesale companies and firms.      

Once again specialists of the footwear industry will see new collections of excellent Italian luxe-class shoes, accessories and other leather goods; familiarize themselves with new trends and establish new commercial relations.
