48th International Exhibition for Shoes and Leather Products

Once again Obuv. Mir Kozhi 2017. Autumn became an important business event where leading manufacturers of footwear and leather products showcased new collections corresponding to the latest spring/summer 2018 trends and professionals in the footwear industry could appreciate exclusive design of models and their high quality, and place orders for the upcoming season.

The Obuv. Mir Kozhi international exhibition will obviously have an impact on the development of the Russian market of footwear and leather products contributing to the promotion of quality goods to all regions of the country.

Show Highlights

  • Travelling to the World of Shoes and Leather Products. Made in Italy: New Products from Italy project organized by the Agency ICE - Italian Trade Promotion Agency, the Italian Association of the Leather Goods Manufacturers (AIMPES) and the Italian Footwear Manufacturers’ Association (ASSOCALZATURIFICI) with financial support from the Italian Ministry of Economic Development. 19 new companies showcased their products on the Russian market. For effective work a special zone for business meetings with importers and distributors was created and an introduction tour was made for specialized press journalists. New companies turned out at the centre of attention of industry experts and the press.  
  • Specialized Salon of Bags, Leather Products and Accessories. The Salon participants were Cromia, Valentino Orlandi, Orlandi Marino, Di Gregorio, Ripani, Arcadia, Carlo Salvatelli, and others.
  • Trend Tour of exhibitors' stands was first organized by Trendsquire and Expocentre AO. The visitors learned about leather products of the upcoming spring/summer 2018 season.
  • Leather Accessories Trends Zone was organized by Expocentre AO and BolognaFierå S.p.A. (Italy).
  • Expocentre for Counterfeit-Free Exhibitions project was carried out online on the exhibition website. The participants could get immediate legal assistance in case their exclusive rights to IP were infringed.

The next edition of Obuv. Mir Kozhi will run on 20-23 March 2018. The venue is Pavilion No.7 of Expocentre Fairgrounds.
