The Obuv. Mir Kozhi 2014. Autumn International Exhibition

The Obuv. Mir Kozhi 2014. Autumn International Exhibition held at Expocentre Fairgrounds, Moscow from September 30 through October 3 showcased exclusive collections of shoes and leather products of the Spring/Summer 2015 season.

The show is run by Expocentre ZAO and BolognaFiere (Italy) with official support from the Association of Italian Footwear Manufacturers (ASSOCALZATURIFICI) and the Ministry of Economic Development of Italy.

The event’s international recognition is confirmed by the labels of UFI – the Global Association of the Exhibition Industry, and RUEF – the Russian Union of Exhibitions and Fairs.

The exhibition space of 5,768 sq m accommodated 250 companies from 10 countries: Finland, France, Greece, Italy, Portugal, Russia, San Marino, Spain, Turkey, and the UK.

New collections were demonstrated by such leaders of the world’ footwear market as Marino Fabiani, Mario Cerutti, Baldinini, Fabi, Loriblu, Nando Muzi, Ripani, Valentino Orlandi, and other well-known brands.

Italy had its national pavilion.

The Specialized Salon of Handbags, Leather Haberdashery and Accessories had on display a wide range of handbags, wallets, belts and gloves. Such well-known brands as Cromia, Gilda Tonelli, Ripani, Arcadia, Renato Angi, Nobel, Lancaster, and Marta Ponti presented their products.

Obuv. Mir Kozhi 2014. Autumn featured Business Contacts Exchange and Personal Contacts Exchange (Labour Exchange).

The Expocentre for Counterfeit-Free Exhibitions Project offered the exhibitors and visitors consultations and clarifications regarding intellectual property and violations of exclusive rights.

The exhibition also included the 10th Business Forum for footwear industry professionals.

Expocentre’s partners in organizing the accompanying programme were Fashion Consulting Group, Clever Fashion, VSN-Transit OOO, and Intersib.

The Forum included the Seminar on Shoe Business: Maximum Sales via Internet, Seminar on Minimizing Shelf Stock in a Shoe Retail Store, Session on Business Development in Volatile Market Conditions, and Seminar on Footwear and Accessories: Fashion Trends for Buyers. Collections for Men and Women

One of the seminars was devoted to customs clearance rules within the Customs Union and WTO. The Customs Clearance Consulting Centre also offered its recommendations on customs handling of import and exports freight, dispatch logistics, and foreign trade within the Customs Union.
